Environmental job market rebounds with 9% increase in job postings in 2017
Environmental employment showed recovery in 2017 as 22,700 jobs were posted across Canada.
This growth was likely the result of key factors such as provincial governments implementing climate change plans, and employment increases within key industries hiring environmental workers involved in professional, scientific and technical services, manufacturing, construction and energy industries.
