How ECO Canada Evolved

Planting the Seeds of the Environmental Workforce

The world is very different than it was in 1988. Read on to see how we’ve evolved since our inception.

It’s a Long Way from 1988 to Where We Are Today

Do you remember cell phones in briefcases? Or the time when everyone had a Walkman hooked onto their hip for their morning bike rides? Or how about when no one had ever heard the term “internet”?

We remember those times. It was 1988, and we were just getting started on a journey that planted the seeds of the Canadian Environmental Workforce. And we’ve illustrated this journey for your enjoyment.

Learn How We’ve Grown

We’ve accomplished a tremendous amount over the course of our evolution, and there is no aspect of the Canadian Environmental workforce that we don’t impact. We are now true stewards of the environmental workforce, and the best is yet to come.
