Ray has been in the vehicle fleet business for over 30 years and has been assisting fleet operators decarbonize their vehicles for over 15 years. Ray’s claim to fame is that he is bilingual. He speaks both Diesel Litres and Kilowatts per kilometer. He helps fleet operators plan their zero emissions path while optimizing cost of operations. Ray is an expert in electric vehicles/infrastructure, proud father (of two engineers), curling enthusiast and cheers for both the Raptors and Oilers!

Solutions and Sales Engineer | Siemens

Jordan is a seasoned professional with 7+ years at Siemens and he excels in technical solution development, product lifecycle management, and project management. His expertise extends to advising Canadian transit agencies and commercial fleets on electric vehicle charging needs, tailoring solutions to their specific requirements. Currently, he consults for Canadian clients, offering preliminary conceptual designs and implementation plans for fleet electrification. Jordan contributes to industry standards as a member of CSA technical subcommittees and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Management from McMaster University. Jordan is also a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario.

Sarah is an MBA graduate from the DeGroote School of Business, and she discovered her passion for sustainability early in her career. Focused on driving the future of transportation, she specializes in electrification solutions. Through market analysis and strategic development, Sarah accelerates the adoption of electric mobility. Additionally, she leads marketing initiatives and educational campaigns to promote electrification and raise awareness of sustainability practices.

How long can I access the course?

Once you have purchased the course, you will have six months to complete it. For instructor led workshops, access will be allowed for the specific course dates.

What is the course format?

All our online courses are self-directed. You will learn practical skills through expert videos, real-life scenarios, workbooks (some courses) and more. Our instructor led courses/workshops are done online using Zoom or other platforms. You will receive an email with the login details. Guidelines for instructor led courses/webinars include: · All participants are muted. · You may unmute to ask a question or participate in the session, once acknowledge by the facilitator or moderator. · For technical issues, use the question box and select ECO Canada if done on Gotowebinar, or the chat box on Zoom.

Do I need to buy additional course materials?

No. All learning materials are included in the purchase price.

Are there any related courses or knowledge resources that complement this training?

How will I be recognized once I have completed the certificate?

You will receive a formal Certificate of Completion upon completing all the required modules and evaluations. This certificate also counts towards professional development credits for EP Certification

What if I have questions during the course or encounter issues trying to complete a course?

If you have any questions while moving through the courses, you can send them to training@staging.eco.ca and someone will get back to you.

How long will it take me to complete the certificate?

Each course varies, and the anticipated length is posted on the course schedule/ overview.

I have a membership with ECO Canada, where do I find my online course discount code?

If you are an EPt, EP, EP Auditor, EPt Student or EP Employer you receive a discount, code for our online training courses. To retrieve your discount code, which can be applied at checkout, you must:

  1. Login to your Member Portal by clicking here: https://portal.staging.eco.ca
  2. Click on your “Memberships,” then “Manage.”
  3. After the page populates, click on “Benefits & Resources.” There you will find a list of discounts available to you.
  4. Copy and paste the applicable discount in the indicated field on the checkout page to receive your discount.
