ECO Employment Programs
For over 20 years, we have been helping new practitioners connect with reputable employers and kickstarting careers. By receiving approval status with one of the below funding streams, you can stand out from the hundreds of other job applicants and tell recruiters that your resume comes with wage and training funding.

Newly qualified practitioners often face barriers when searching for environmental roles. The ECO Employment Program aims to break these down.

Student Work Placement Program
If you are currently in school or are returning to post-secondary studies for upskilling your credentials, this program provides you will the chance to gain valuable on-the-job experience before you graduate. Up to $5,000 could go toward your next employment position.
Full-Time Internships & Entry-Level Job Funding
There are several program streams that could help you find your next employment opportunity. Each program provides your employer with thousands of dollars in savings for new hire onboarding:
Youth in Natural Resources
Up to 80% in wage subsidies and training to hire junior professionals in roles related to Forestry, Mining, Earth Sciences and Energy.
Digital Skills for Youth
We cover 80% of wages and training up to $18,000 for environmental jobs that require digital abilities such as programming, data analysis and website development.
Science Horizons Youth Internship
Up to 80% of wages to hire junior professionals aged 30 and under for full-time permanent positions in climate change, environmental protection and sustainability.
